Matthew Newey


Matthew has 35 plus years of work experience working in various sectors such as the Building industry, Financial Services, Manufacturing environments and FMCG. As the Head of Training and Development at Bromor Foods (part of Cadbury Schweppes plc.) he played a key role in developing and implementing training strategies that assisted the business through tremendous transformation since 1992. He was part of the project team that established the Food and Beverage SETA and served on various bodies there, (SGB/Council and Beverage Chamber) over a five-year period.

He has a passion for people and their development within the workplace and conducts workshops and speaks at conferences on:

Matthew’s qualification in HR development and Training, his workplace experience and his open style and streetwise approach to life enables him to effectively engage multi-functional groups and teams.

Mathew has been associated with ITISA over the past 20 years. He recently merged his company Litetha with ITISA in 2016 and is today a partner in ITISA.
